Kise Sawal Kita Mian Majnu Nu

Teri Laila Te Rang Di Kaali Ae

Someone said to the Majnu 

That your Laila is black, not pretty.

Ditta Jawab Mian Majnu Nai

Teri Ankh Na-Vekhan Vali Ae

Majnu replied to the questioner,

Your eyes can not see (without love).

Chitte Varq Quran Pak De

Utthe Likhe Siahi Kaali Ae

Pages of  the Holy Quran are white,

But the words are written in black ink.

 

Te Bhulliah Jitthe Dil De Ditta

Othe Ki Gori Te Ki kaali Ae 

Listen, bhulleh shah in love,

There is no black and white.
